What is an Enrolled Agent?
An EA is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. Enrolled agents are generally unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle and which IRS offices they can represent clients before. To become an EA you must obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number, pass the Special Enrollment Examination and pass a tax compliance check.

What is a Certified Senior Advisor?
A CSA is an earned and regulated accreditation, for a professional who wants to supplement their individual professional credentials with education and knowledge about aging and working with seniors. This professional must complete a rigorous course of instruction in the concerns facing seniors. This course is taught by a nationally recognized panel of experts in social work, law, medicine, gerontology, geriatrics and financial planning. This education is designed to help professionals work with seniors more successfully. Upon completion of the course, candidates must pass a comprehensive exam to demonstrate their knowledge of the issues and their commitment to meeting the needs of their senior clients.
